Drake’s Creative Director Michael Hill added a utilitarian edge to the brands usual mix of smart tailoring and premium sportswear for a new high summer collection. In addition to natty cotton and linen suit separates, handmade ties and linen camp collar shirts, there are transitional pieces like hand-knitted cashmere jumpers and versatile outerwear – with a strong focus on texture and color. Among the standouts are a reissue of Drake’s D-43 Field Jacket, this time in waxed linen, and a rugged suede Chore Jacket finished with raw seams and triple stitching.
